Qi Gong is a 3000 year old Chinese practice that promotes energy and longevity. It is traditionally used alongside acupuncture, moxibustion, Tui Na, Pharmacopoeia, and other forms of traditional Chinese medicine. Qi Gong consists of exercises that result in personal growth and is also used to treat physical and psychosomatic disorders.

Qi Gong is based on three main principles: the control of the physical body, or the Sheng, the control of Qi, or energy, and the control of the Shen, or spirit. The movement of Qi Gong uses the same parts of the body that are used in acupuncture, relying on the traditional concepts found in traditional China. In order to become an expert in Qi Gong and to teach Qi Gong exercises, one must have a very deep understanding of these traditional concepts.

Qi Gong is probably the most appreciated therapy out of all Chinese medicine practices.
